With multiple open home appointments scheduled at similar times, it is advisable to plan your weekly open inspection schedule to ensure you don’t miss out on viewing your favourite properties.

Scheduled open home appointments are permitted in Queensland. The number of people attending an open home depends on the size of the property.

FOR PROPERTIES:

Under 200 square metres: 1 person per 2 square metres are permitted at a time, (up to 50 people)
Over 200 square metres: 1 person per 4 square metres are permitted at a time.

SOCIAL DISTANCING:
The mandatory physical distance must be maintained between visitors attending an open home, as are optimum hand hygiene practices.
A record of each person’s name, address, mobile phone number and date and time period visited will be kept for at least 56 days to help with contact tracing should someone be diagnosed with COVID-19.

Visitors to open homes must avoid touching any part of the property (e.g. doors or cupboards).
